Throughout Briana’s teaching career, she has continually expanded her PBL and design thinking skills to provide students with authentic, hands-on STEM experiences. From coding to woodworking, she has sought opportunities to integrate engineering into her curriculum. She has constructed harps and kalimbas with kindergarteners, built life-sized body systems with middle schoolers, and used a Glowforge to design motorized cars with high school students. My curriculum leverages holistic STEM skills to address real-world inequities, particularly those that impact students’ communities.
